Rudy and Lorraine Johnson: Earthquake update
Dear Friends,
Several people have called or written emails asking us if we were all right after the BIG earthquake. It was on the Coast of Peru and we live up in the mountains and we did not feel anything. We were told about it after finishing our English class that we teach on Monday and Wednesday nights to the local people. Upon arriving home we received a call from Cusco (2o miles away where our church is) and they had felt it.
We want to thank everyone for their prayers during this time. We just pray that God will be magnified and that many will come to know Him as their Saviour because of it.
One of the worst things that has happened, outside of the deaths and injuries, is that over 600 prisioners escaped when the walls of the prison fell.
