Mandy and Lynn Calinisans: April 2007

Dear Pastors & friends:

Before I begin, let me express my sincere thanks to all of you. This year is flying by so fast as we are almost halfway through the year again!

Rejoice with us for the 524 souls that have been saved for the passed 3 months. Truly God is so good! Week after week we never cease to share the Gospel to every creature.

Let me give you an update on our building project. Through God's grace, the construction is now going on. As we have mentioned on our previous letter, the building will be built by faith. Because of the high cost of labor and materials, 1.2 million pesos has already been spent on the ground excavation, building foundations, footings, and for an ongoing pouring of slab for the second floor. We are hoping that at least the laying of the floor will be finished before the rainy season starts. The existing funds that we have now currently are not enough to complete the second floor, but we know we have a great God that will make a way to increase our funds.

We will also try to again open a school for preschool, kinder and lower levels 1-V1. We tried to start last year but it didn't materialize due to an unexpected circumstances. Hopefully this time God will allow us to start and establish one so that we can reach the middle class and rich family in our area through the ACE school ministry.

My wife and I are so happy to announce that my youngest son, Alvin, got married on March 10, 2007. It was a very memorable time for us because he finally settled down and God gave him a beautiful, God fearing 26 year old lady named Louwella Margaret McKay. We welcome her to our family. My other son, Alex, his wife, Riza, and 2 grandsons, Andrew and AJ, also came home to attend the wedding. It was a great family reunion, though it was short, we praise God for it.

Please pray with us for the following:
1. 11 teenagers that have been attending our morning service regularly are now having problems with their guardian (uncle). They are not allowed to attend the service anymore for no good reason. This group of teens were saved and baptized and were discipled for several months already. Its sad to see them being stopped to grow in the Lord just because of their unsaved uncle. We tried to reach their uncle but he is under the influence of alcohol most of the time.
2. Funds to finish the building.
3. Power of the Holy Spirit
4. Souls to get saved and get baptized.

Again, we are grateful for all the prayers and financial support that you have been giving to us through the years. We are excited and looking forward for more great things to happen.

Yours for souls,

Mandy & Lynn Calinisan
