Kevin and Stacy Byers: January 2008 update

Dear Churches, Friends, and Prayer Partners,

Thank you all for praying over my computer data loss problem. I never lost my calender of meetings and I thank God for that. I appreciate all the calls, e-mails, and words of encouragement.

I also thank you for the gifts toward our passage fund. We hope to have our support raised very soon and the cost of moving to another country is very great. Please continue to pray about our passage fund and give as you are able.

I am sending this news article for two reasons. I hope you will pray the Lord will allow us to home school our children in Germany. If we must, we will place our children in the German school in order to minister in that country. God called us to Germany and we can not turn back for any reason. God knows how to protect our children in a humanistic morally corrupt system just like he did with Daniel and the three Hebrew children. If our kids are forced into a German school we will need much prayer for our family and children.

The second reason I am sending this article is to encourage you to contact those mentioned in the story and spread the word. Perhaps calling and praying Christians would make a difference in the freedom granted to visiting missionaries. Please remember not to mention our family specifically but just follow the instructions given in the news article.

Thank you so much for your love, support, prayers, and encouragement. We are confident God will work His will in this situation but we knew you would want to know and pray.
