Praise the Lord!

During the month of March we saw the Lord bless and our monthly support increased to 52%. Thank you all for praying and faithfully supporting our ministry each month. To God be the glory for His mercy to us and his blessings each day.

Corry Baptist Church in PA began supporting our ministry this month along with Riverdale Baptist Church in NJ. Retired Pastor Lee Brock and his wife contacted us in March and expressed their desire to support our ministry each month this year. Bro. Brock is the pastor who led my dad to Christ. Some other very dear friends contacted us recently and added our ministry to their monthly budget. We also began receiving support from Maranatha Baptist Church in MD. We are humbled by the generosity of God"s people and privileged to call so many of them our friends.

A few weeks ago, doctors told Stacy"s grandfather he had only a few weeks to live. Months ago I talked extensively with Tony DiBiaso and asked you to pray for his salvation. He was very adamant about his believe in salvation through the Catholic Priest. He would not believe that Jesus could save him and refused to hear anything about the Word of God. All that changed when Stacy went to see him last week. Tony confessed to believe in Jesus and Him alone to save him. His attitude was completely different and he was open to the things of God. Neither of us knows when this change of heart occurred, all we know is the Gospel was presented many times and at some point he chose to accept God"s way of salvation. Later, the Lord gave me a short opportunity to visit with Tony and it was a joy to see the peace he has even though his time is short. Thank you so much for praying, I knew you would rejoice over this soul accepting Christ at the last hour.

We need special prayer concerning protection for our family this month. We have seen the Lord"s blessing but we have also faced great opposition and personal attack. We need the Lord to grant wisdom and discernment for the days ahead. It is not uncommon for Satan to fight hard when he looses a soul he held for many years. I learned long ago that lost family members are very offended when Christians present the Gospel to one who is dying.

I called a shipping company last week to get an estimate on shipping household goods to Germany. If you have seen the movie "Facing the Giants", I like to think of this call as "preparing for rain." The company gave me a rough estimate of $4,000. Once our van is paid for we will begin saving for this expense as well as air fare and passports for the family. If you desire to help us with our passage needs, you can send a check to BIMI with our missionary number (1323) and mark "passage fund" in the memo line. We hope to have all the necessary funds raised by January 2008. We need to have many churches begin support in the months ahead in order to reach this goal. We are praying many of the churches we visited long ago will begin supporting us this year.
