Kevin and Stacy Byers: Prayer Request
Guten Tag (hello) From Germany,
We want to thank each one of you for your continued prayers and support. We know many sacrifices are made to allow us the privilege of preaching the Gospel here in Germany. We thank you for these sacrifices and are quite aware of the difficult financial problems facing Americans today. As faithful Bible believers, we trust the rapture is just around the corner so we won't be here when a piece of bread will buy a bag of gold. Still though, we know things are tough. We often pray for our supporting churches that God will provide good jobs and financial relief during these tough times.
With these things in mind, Stacy and I are very careful to refrain from asking for help when adding a little water in the soup will get the job done. The truth is, we have some financial needs at this time and we humbly ask you to pray about what the Lord would have you to do.
One of our most current needs is concerning a VISA for each member of the family. Will you please visit www.thebyersfamily.net and see the details? On top of this, the cost of registering a vehicle in Germany is very expensive. We also have several doctor bills due at the moment.
We are asked about our financial needs from time to time, and we normally don't mention them. We know the Lord is faithful, and we also know the difference between a want and a need. I apologize for sending this second request for help, but we desire to continue serving the Lord here and this is the cost of doing business in a foreign country.
God bless you for your part in our ministry.

Kevin and Stacy Byers: May Prayer Letter
Dear Friends, Praise the Lord for Jesus, the Bible, church, salvation, and answers to prayer. We also thank God for you and your standing with us as we seek to please the Lord. We really needed prayer just a few days ago. Stacy found Noah Brett, our two year old boy, at the bottom of our stairs barely conscious. No one knows exactly how long he was there but apparently,...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: April Prayer Letter
Dear Friends, Thank you for helping us to preach the Word of God here in Germany. The Bible says "how shall they hear without a preacher" and it also teaches the preacher must be sent. Thank you for your sacrifice in sending. Most of you have received our many updates by e-mail, but a letter is certainly over-due. We continue to meet for services in our home and to spread...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: Quick Update
Dear Supporting Churches, I received word yesterday that mom's cancer has returned. Just last month, her MRI showed no signs of cancer and three days ago my mom began having seizures. Another scan revealed a 2 inch tumor in her brain and several more tumors in her spine. The doctors are medicating to keep the swelling down, but no one is certain how long she will be alive. Hospice is...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: Update on Pastor Jim Doster & Prayer Request
Dear Friends, When the doctor did an ultrasound to find the best place to get a biopsy of the "nodes' in Pastor Doster's lungs, they weren't there. He is still having difficulty breathing and experiencing pain but the doctors have ruled out cancer and Mesothelioma. I believe God heard your prayers. Thank you for praying with faith! The doctors have prescribed a one month regiment of antibiotics and we hope...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: A Little Need
Dear Supporters, I am sending this quick update to let you know about a small need that we have. As mentioned in our prayer letters, we are holding services for God's Word Baptist Church in our home each week. Although we are a small church, we already have 3 people deployed and unable to attend services. I would love to post our messages on the church website so those deployed...

Dear Friends, Greetings, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ creator of heaven and earth, who gave himself to become sin for us that we might be made sinless in God's sight. Kevin and Stacy Byers: Quick Update
Dear Friends, Just to give you a quick update, we received word back from the German hospital with the results from Elijah's blood tests. His tyrosine levels are all normal now. We are very thankful for this answer to prayer. I also wanted to pass along a web log we have created. Some folks are interested in a little more information than what we put in our prayer letters. Furthermore,...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: December 2009
Dear Praying Friends, The last time I wrote, my computer was in the shop and I had no letterhead for our prayer letter. As you can see, we have some of those problems fixed. I received the computer in the mail, transferred all my files to an external hard drive, and 3 days later the computer failed. I am so glad I moved the files, but I really miss my...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: Baby Friday rather than "Black Friday"
Dear Friends, Please begin praying for Stacy and little unborn Elijah. Stacy is scheduled to have the baby this Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. I will take her in at 6:00 A.M. local time for a scheduled c-section delivery. This will be Stacy's 5th c-section delivery. We have so much to be thankful for and our family is truly blessed. The Bible says: Lo, children are an heritage of the...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: Mom's Surgery
Dear Folks, I would like to thank each of you for praying for my Mom. Her surgery was a success and the tumor was completely removed. This tumor was a growth of cancer that came from the small cell lung cancer after being broken up by the chemo therapy. Unfortunately, the doctors suspect this cancer will continue to appear. Mom will begin radiation of the brain and will most likely...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: Unexpected Update from Germany
Hello Everyone, Just a few moments ago, I had a unique opportunity when my German neighbor came over for a short visit. Thanks to a free copy of E-Sword on my computer and the parallel German Bible Function in the program; I was able to share many scriptures with him in his own language. It was wonderful because I have learned quite a few German words and phrases and I...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: Load Complete!
Dear Friends, I thank you for praying about our container. At the last minute, I had help from nearly everywhere. Pastor Bragg and some people from Lakewood Baptist came. Pastor Wheeler and some folks from Hamilton Baptist also came. We even had one neighbor from Harmony Baptist and two neighbors from Stanly Heights Baptist come to our rescue. (Everyone in TN is a Baptist in case you didn't know, even...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: Help Moving Thursday
Hello Everyone, I realize this list goes to people around the world who couldn't possibly volunteer to come help load our container on Thursday. I figure if you can't help, perhaps you could pray that we get help and that all goes smoothly. We have a 40 foot container coming to our house in Harrison, TN and we must load it here. The truck and driver will wait while the...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: House Hunt Day 1
Dear Friends, I really do appreciate your prayers over the next 2 weeks. I am in Germany and searching for housing right now. Germans are a little funny when it comes to large families. They always feel the accomidations won't be suffient. They would die to know we are currently living in a 3 bedroom house in the states. I just returned from 2 possibilities and here are the results:...

Kevin and Stacy Byers: Cancer
