Keith and Donna South: January 2008

There is never enough vocabulary or room in our updates to express our heart felt thanks for all the prayers, notes, emails, gifts, & visits that are offered and received over the course of a year. We can look back over almost 17 years with so many of you and treasure our time, friendship, and service together for our wonderful Savior.

We had the privilege of baptizing two right before Christmas. Kevin Wood and Clifton Taylor followed the Lord in Believer's Baptism with many in attendance. Please continue to pray for Kevin's wife Andrea. She is very close to accepting the Lord and when she does I know she will want to be baptized as well. I am continuing my home Bible study with them as schedules allow and it is a thrill to see how they've grown over the course of this year. Kevin runs on the ambulance with me and is also a firefighter.

We had a great December to close down 2007. Our progressive supper was a great success as well as our Watch Night Fellowship at our house. We had 38 come and ring in the new year with us! That's a full house! PTL!

We were also blessed to have all four boys home for Christmas. It was a blessing to have them all here. The mother (hen) was especially happy to have all of her chick home under her wing again. There won't be too many more of those so we enjoy the time to the fullest while we can.

I trust each one of you has had a wonderful Christmas season and it is our prayer that you will be used in a powerful way in 2008.
