Keith and Donna South: September 2007

Praise the Lord for the month of August! We had plenty to do after July which is camp month. We had a wonderful camping season. Jeff was the program director and assisted our new camp director Jarrod Murdock. The Lord used the both greatly and it was a blessing to see our young men from Utah step up into such leadership positions.

We had a little over 300 for family camp and around 250 for the camps to follow. There were several salvation decisions along with young people dedicating their lives to the Lord. We sent 14 up this year and we saw the one of our Mormon kids get saved. He and his family have been attending church. We need to pray for Alan & Mary Ann his parents to accept Christ also.

August brought our county fair and another year of us running one of the concession stands. This was our second year and I believe once again the Lord blessed our testimonies in the community and the fair committee was very pleased with what we accomplished. We were sure to give the credit to the Lord and they simply said, "That doesn't surprise us." The Lord added over $3700 to our building fund from the fair and we praise Him for it. We also thank all of you that prayed.

August also bring school back and that means we need to get Jeff back to Northland and Brad and Doug started on their Jr. and Soph. years. Brad and Doug are both playing football again and I've been asked to walk the sidelines another year and help with stats. Praise the Lord for the opportunities that He provides. Pray that we will always be sensitive to His working and grab each opportunity by faith and glorify Him.

We are all doing well. We are praising the Lord that the Parkinson's hasn't seemed to progress much in Donna. She is lacking energy and wears down quickly but He sustained her through cooking at both family camp and Jr. High camp this summer although I'm not sure how many more she has. She was hammered for pretty much the rest of the summer. But that's not all bad. The boys and I are able to do so much more when she is wore out. Not only are we able to help her with several things around the house but we are able to get into more "stuff." I can't really go into too much detail because she still reads these things but suffice it to say...

Thanks again for all of your support both prayer & financially,

Keith, Donna, & The Boys
