Justus Banuel: August 2010 PRAYER LETTER
Dear Pastor and Friends,
Greetings to you in our Lords Sweet name.
By the time many of you receive this prayer letter, I will be in the United States. I am arriving on the 18th of August. The schedule this year is very hectic. I will be on more than 20 different flights and hope to visit over 40 churches before returning home in November. I look forward to seeing many of you while there.
This has been a very difficult month for us. We've had several visitors from the United States, which is always a blessing, but sadly, we were involved in a tragic accident during the visit of Pastor Frank Humber from Summerville, Oregon. I have asked Pastor Humber to tell you about the accident because it is too painful for me to write about. He has been so kind to do so and his note is included at the end of this prayer letter.
In the past month, 745 have been saved in the ministry. Our baptisms are still low due to having so few areas where the water is safe enough to baptize. We were only able to baptize 63.
My youngest daughter, Blessy, will begin college on the 9th of August. We wish she was nearer to home but we know that God is with her every day. This is her first time away from home and she is our youngest, so please pray for her and for my wife, Isabella.
All the ministries are going well and we are operating on whatever God provides for us. Because it has been a while since we listed all the different ministries we have, a list is included at the end of this prayer letter. Any area that you feel God is leading you to help with will be so much appreciated.
Again, I look forward to seeing many of you while in the USA. Please feel free to contact me by phone while I am there. The number is 770-337-8748. I hope to talk to many of you during my visit.
Thank you for your love and prayers and support.
Because of Him,
Justus Banuel

*** Supplementary Letter From Pastor Frank Humber, on behalf of Justus Banuel ***
I am writing on behalf of Bro. Banuel. During a recent visit of mine with Bro Banuel, I was very blessed by the ministry God is doing there with this faithful servant of His. I am glad that we invest in this ministry and that you do as well. While traveling back to his home from a weekend of ministry, we found ourselves in a terrible automobile accident. A man on a motorcycle pulled in front of us never looking our direction. We were traveling on a four-lane highway and had the right of way. Bro. Banuel tried everything he could to avoid hitting the man, but it was not possible. Sadly, the man died from the accident. Bro. Banuel was cleared of any wrong doing after hours of investigation and released from the police. Since then all other evidence has further pointed to Bro. Banuel's innocence in this death. I want to encourage you to pray for Bro. Banuel and his family, as well as the family of this man that died. The Banuels are deeply saddened by this, because they have dedicated themselves to bringing life to people in Christ. If you have any further questions of me, please feel free to contact me at 541-534-9155.
Your Fellow servant,
Franklin E. Humber, Pastor
