Dear Friends,
Greetings from the Earnhart family. I will try to be brief in this update, but we have a
LOT to share with you! We are getting settled in our new house and everyone is VERY
thankful to have their own bed!
God really blessed the work in our absence! The attendance has been well over 100-150 for every service. Our 1,200 sq ft. building can't hold any more! SO, this Sunday we are starting two new churches from our bus route and starting a Children's Church on Sunday night. We didn't plan it that way, but God opened all the doors! This Sunday is also our church's Anniversary Sunday.
This week a group from Daytona Beach is coming to help with our VBS (21-25) and then we have a wedding on the 26th. Needless to say, it will be a BUSY week. Next is our Revival Campaign, then VBS in Arequipa combined with our Leadership Camp. We will also be helping Pastor Henry with construction on their new building! Next is our Couple's Retreat and then school starts in March, Whew!
Pastor Henry is getting the keys to the new building in Arequipa tomorrow and will make the final payment next week. EVERY paper we had to sign had to be signed, notarized, registered at Public Records, recorded in the church minutes, then the minutes had to be signed, notarized, registered (which takes a week!), etc. That is how things go in Peru!
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who had a part in purchasing the building in Arequipa!!! God's provision and timing is always best!!! Most of the commitments came in right away and that enabled us to show our bank receipt and encourage the seller because we had cash in hand. The next step is to put up a roof for the auditorium. We'll be sending lots of picture soon!
Sorry this has been so general, I would love to share all the details, but I have to run! We have to get things ready for our guests and buy a couple more beds!
