Jonathan and Becky Earnhart: March 2007

Dear Praying Friends,

Greetings once again from sunny, southern Peru. We are enjoying wonderful weather as we enter the fall season. A spiritual harvest is exactly what we have been experiencing in the church. Praise the Lord, we have seen several salvation decisions as well as new believers taking the step of faith to be baptized. Coming from Catholic backgrounds, it takes a bit longer for our people to understand their need to be re-baptized after salvation, but it's worth the wait as we see them surrender to the Lord in this area. (the 18th of March we are baptizing one more)

Calvario and Fundamental continue to grow. Unfortunately, our buildings are not growing with us! Please continue to pray that the Lord provides a space for His people. We have found available property in both cities. Purchasing property and building costs can be made for a fraction of what the costs are in the States. Once we have the property purchased we will need crews of men that would be willing to help us build the churches. You can begin praying now and making plans to be a part of this ministry!

Our summer program is now over and we were very pleased to see some tremendous growth among our leaders. We did not have one serious problem as God gave us a tremendous spirit of unity! We had an average of over 20 workers in every week of activities, sometimes more. Three young men have gotten baptized as a result of the summer program; one couple came to Christ, got baptized and then married! (they were living together) God continues to work in hearts and allow us to work in His harvest field!

We would ask your continued prayers for our upcoming furlough. We will be leaving the church in the hands of Pastor Henry. He will be working between both churches during our absence. Our people seem to be ready and are excited about this new opportunity of growth. What started with 3 leaders in 2004 has grown to over 20 leaders that are very involved in every aspect of the church. I feel like a "proud papa". Our "babies" have grown and are ready to begin running! Pray for their continued growth and that God would put a hedge of protection around each individual and each family represented.

Please for our family as we will begin our trip to the states on the 2nd of April. After a 20 hour bus ride, we will fly out of Lima on the 4th. We cannot report that the Lord has provided a vehicle yet, but we can tell you we are thanking Him in advance for all He is going to do. According to Andrew, we're to be looking for a Hummer to pick us up! We'll let you know how it turns out. We look forward to seeing you all soon and trust the Lord will do something special in our hearts and in your family as a result of our ministry. CELL PHONE as of the 5th of April is - [removed].
