Howard and Ginni Wynn: March 2006
Greetings to Pastors and Friends:
It is for sure it is hard to know just where to start in sharing what the Lord is doing in this place.
We have so many men in our church now that are able to buy motorcycles, on Sunday our parking lot looks like a motorcycle convention or something. I have purchased an old 400 cc. Yamaha and after three months of fixing it up is finally on the road running good and even looks pretty good. I got the idea the other day that it would be some good fellowship for us to get together as a group and ride to different areas where there are mission works and even
where there are not and pass out tracts and information about our main work, have lunch and fellowship together and of course come back home. Last Saturday we made a short trip of about 40 kilometers to the northern most town here on Leyte. We have services there every Sunday afternoon. We passed out over one thousand inviatations to the services there and then stopped at a park where there is a water falls ate and fellowshiped together. We had a great time and was a blessing to all who made the trip.
We had some folks saved lately that we have been praying for, for many years. He is so nice to see them in every service just listening and growing in the Lord. We have placed a big emphasis on discipleship and for sure it is paying off. Please pray for these new converts as they grow in the Lord.
Our school year is ending soon. Once again we will have graduates in our High School and Bible College and Seminary. It is such a blessing to see the growth of these students over the years they have been in our school. It is for sure every church should be training the leaders of the future. If we were all in that business the future for sure would look better than the past.
Our church just finished our annual missions conference with over $60,000.00 promised to missions for this coming year. I would think that is not bad for a church that is located in the one of the poorest areas of the Philippines. Our folks also promised over $20,000 to our building fund this coming year. We had another couple give their lives for foreign missions that have a burden to go to Indonesia. They will be going out soon to raise money to get there. That brings the total from directly out of our church to nine foreign missionaries!! We now have twenty one men in full time service that have been trained in our Bible College and Seminary.
In three weeks will be our annual youth camp. Please pray that once again this year the Lord will work in the lieves of those that attend. Many of our pastors were called by God during youth camp, including my own son who is now here for the past seven years as a missionary.
In closing please pray for my wife as she deals each day with Parkinson's. She is doing fine and has a great testimony of God's Grace. We love each of you and would love to hear from you also. Thanks for your part in our lives.
