Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Dear Pastors & Friends:

It is very hard to imagine that another year has come and gone.

The Lord has been so good to my wife and I. So far it has been more than two years since we found out that my wife has Parkinson's and so far He has given us grace not to complain, doubt and question His will for our lives. Do pray for my wife as more and more signs of this disease appear.

In this past year we have visited the U.S. for our furlough and have already been back in the Philippines for a few months now. We have seen our main work here celebrate its twenty seventh anniversary as a church with over 700 present and four young men trusting Him as their Savior. At present we are seeing so many blessings in the mission works that have been started by the graduates of our Bible College here in the Philippines and around the world. Doors of opportunity open almost every month to reach new areas with the Gospel.

It is such a good thing to serve the one who loved us and died for us. May we together this coming year do more for Him than we have ever done before.

There are just a few things that we would like our friends to remember in prayer for us. We had to make three visit to the E.R. just before returning to the Philippines. The bills have finally come in. A church has already helped us with part of these cost but we still have a balance due of almost $1000.00 with several churches dropping our support over the past three years we sure could use some help to pay these bills. We also of course would like you to continue to pray for my wife. She is still having swelling in her feet at times and we are hoping that someone can tell her what is causing that problem so we can deal with it. We would like prayer for God's will concerning starting two new works this coming year. We have some young men that are ready to go out and begin new works.

We want to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We trust that you will know Him first of all and then know His will for your lives. May God's great blessings be yours. We love each of you.
