Howard and Ginni Wynn: August 2007

Thought this would be a blessing:

Over 13 years ago one of our men hiked over a mountain from the town where he was preaching having no results. The fact of the matter is that he had preached in this place for almost one year and had, had almost no one attend the services. Over this mountain was the ocean and a little town called Potot Leyte. Only two ways to get there at that time. You could walk for several hours over the mountain to the sea coast or travel by boat for about 45 minutes. After visiting there he felt lead to go there and start a mission work. Neuse Baptist Church in Raleigh NC. purchased a nice banca for that ministry with a large diesel engine. He worked there for twelve years. While there a young man who had been born in that place, grew up there and had not been hardly any other place in his life. No electric, no roads a very primitive place. His name is Ronilo Sintos. It was not long until Ronilo was called to preach. He came to our Bible College and church to study. It took almost one year to get him to wear more than a printed T shirt to services. Of course that is all that he had owned for all of his life. We purchased him some nice borongs and finally after threatening almost his life he started wearing them. Our course is suppose to be finished in four years but Ronilo stretched it out to six! Schooling in his home town was very limited. This brings me to our visitation on Thursday nights which was just a few hours ago. Once again as always we had around sixty present. I always ask for testimonies before we go out. Last night a first year student stood and gave what I think was his first testimony. His name is Roberlito he is from Babatngnon Leyte where Ronilo the one mentioned above is starting a mission work. Roberlito thanked the Lord for sending his pastor, Ronilo to his house to share Christ. He stated as a result of his visit he came from darkness into light. Instead of having no purpose in his life he now has a purpose to serve the Lord! He turned toward Ronilo and said, "pastor thank you for coming to my house and leading me to Christ". Our church here has purchased Ronilo a brand new motor cycle about one year ago and he is faithfully taking the Gospel to this northern most town on our Island. He now is teased about how nice he dresses and looks all the time. God is good! All the time! These two young preachers are just a couple of the many that are now preaching the Gospel in places that have never heard as a result of folks just like you that took time to care. Of course the ultimate reason is because of a Savior who cared enough, "while we were yet sinners to die for us".

May the Lord find us faithful when He comes for us. May we always keep in mind what the main thing is, that of winning men and women to Chirst.

Thanks for your part in our lives.

Greetings to Pastors and Friends: It is for sure it is hard to know just where to start in sharing what the Lord is doing in this place. We have so many men in our church now that are able to buy motorcycles, on Sunday our parking lot looks like a motorcycle convention or something. I have purchased an old 400 cc. Yamaha and after three months of fixing it...continue

Howard and Ginni Wynn: New Year 2006

In just a few hours another year will have come and gone. I would think it would be good if each of us would ask and answer the question what I have done this year for the one that loved me so much He died on a cruel cross, shed His blood and rose again from the dead so that if I trust Him alone for salvation, Heaven could be...continue

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Dear Pastors & Friends: It is very hard to imagine that another year has come and gone. The Lord has been so good to my wife and I. So far it has been more than two years since we found out that my wife has Parkinson's and so far He has given us grace not to complain, doubt and question His will for our...continue
