Greg and Wendy Mann: April 2007

Dear Family and Friends,

It has been a few weeks since I last wrote. This should be the last update you will get from us, sent from the States. We are scheduled to return to Guyana on the 4th of May. We are very anxious to return home and get back to the work God has for us there. We have been able to raise some much needed support, and get some help on a number of projects.

These past two weeks I have been in the Philippines. What a wonderful trip! I was able to travel with my pastor and several men from our home church. Pastor Green is the President of a mission board helping Philippinos reach Asia. I must say, after seeing the work, I am very impressed. This mission work is done almost exclusively by Philippino missionaries with the help of American churches. They have hundreds of churches and mission works througout the Philippines, Camodia, and Thailand. My "job" on this trip was to introduce the field of Guyana. There are many now interested in the work in Guyana. I am asking those that are interested to wait a few months, and if there is still a desire to come to Guyana, we can explore that option. It would be wonderful to have some help from my Philippino brothers and sisters.

I hope to report to you next from Guyana. Please be in prayer for Josiah. He broke his arm while I was in the Philippines. He will have a cast put on Wednesday. He is having a hard time adjusting to being careful!

Thank you for your prayers and support!

Greg, Wendy, Joshua, Josiah, and John
