Gary and Verda Keck: April 2007

Dear Pastor and Praying Friends:

We have enjoyed being in churches and starting new relationships, but as our furlough continues, our hearts long to be with the people God has called us to. We are beginning to make preparations for our return to Papua New Guinea. We started our furlough with 2 graduations and a wedding. Our family has traveled over 40,000 miles, been in 13 different States - some more than once. We have been in 85 churches, 20 for the first time. We appreciate the churches that have stood with us. It is a great blessing to us for those who have increased their monthly support. We are very grateful for seven new churches that have taken us on for financial support. We are praying that others will partner with us as well.

I am overwhelmed and thankful for the generosity of God's people who have sacrificially given through each of their churches. The financial gifts have made it possible for us to purchase airline tickets and necessary equipment for ministry to be shipped back to PNG. Thank you so much. I am praying that enough money will be given for the purchase of a 15 KVA generator.

Not only are preparations being made for our return to the field, but preparations are well underway for the wedding of Sharon, our second daughter, to Zach Bartlett, both are mission's majors at Heartland Baptist Bible College. If you are in the area, we would love for you to be our guest. The ceremony will be held at our sending church, Harvest Baptist Temple in Medford, Oregon, on Saturday, June 30th at 1:00 PM. Our Pastor, Dr. Bob Gass will be officiating. It would be a great honor to have you join us in the celebration.

Thank you for your faithful support and prayers.
