DAILY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - Summer vacation in the Philippines has come and gone. We held our Bible school in three locations this year. For many of these children, this has been there first time to hear Bible stories. Many children prayed to receive the Lord Jesus as their personal Saviour. We have a great task ahead to get these children to Sunday School on a regular basis, so that they will grow in the faith. Pray with us that we will be able to reach their parents with the Gospel.
CHURCH EXPANSION - As you know, our church building sustained major damage as a result of Super Typhoon Reming. After repairing the church and helping many of our members, we still had money left over and more donations coming in. Since we had experience some numerical growth that sometimes crowded our church, we decided to extend the front by eight meters. We added an amount to our present church building fund and began our construction last May. The construction is now in its final stages as we prepare for our annual Bible Conference. We want to thank all of you for your prayers and financial support for making this possible.
FURLOUGH 2008 - The Lord willing, we are planning to come to the states for a 4 month furlough from May 1 - August 31. We have need of a vehicle for that short period of time. The mission agency that we normally rent from does not have an available vehicle for those dates. We covet your prayers for this matter.
