Chad and Faith Mann: February 2008
Dear Praying Friends,
This past month we have have the privilege to visit many good churches in Canada. God allowed us to get involved in some ministry opportunities as well. We thank the Lord for giving us many new friends and prayer partners for the work in India.
We ended up spending about three weeks of January in Canada around the Edmonton area. Wednesday we headed back to Montana to get our utility trailer and continue toward Michigan. We will be based there until the middle of April with meetings.
Yesterday afternoon as we were making our way across Montana, we were involved in an accident. A truck pulling a horse trailer was coming down a side road toward the highway. We were traveling about 65 mph down the highway, but as we got closer to this connecting road we noticed that the other driver was not stopping. The truck slid out on the road connecting with our passenger side. The entire passenger side along with our trailer was damaged.
Praise the Lord no one was hurt! Just a couple seconds difference and there would have been some serious injuries. We knew the Lord was watching out for us and someone must have been praying.
We ended up coming back to Lewistown to sort out details. Our van and trailer are totaled. We are praying about a couple options, so we can get back on the road. Please pray that the Lord will show us what vehicle we need to get.
This coming Thursday, I have a nine day trip out of country. Please pray that we can make it to Michigan by Wednesday the 6th. This trip has already been canceled once due to my episode with the kidney stones.
