Dear Brother Adams and Friends In Christ,
Greetings in the wonderful name ofour Lord Jesus who loves us and gave Himself for us. I want to thank you in a very special way for your faithful support and for your love and prayers for us in Nicaragua.
January was a great month. Over 360 were saved. Pastors came from the USA to help us in a large Leadership Conference at a camp. Numbers of decisions were made for full time Christian service. Eight came to know Christ as their Savior.
February was team month. A great team of twenty traveled with us to many places throughout Nicaragua. Over five thousand Gospels of John and Romans were given out. We even had the joy of leading some of these people to Christ. Forty-two accepted the Lord as their personal Savior. Our days were spent building two Sunday School buildings. This was a great help and answer to prayer for the churches that needed Sunday School space.
March has already been a busy month. God has provided the plans for a new 1000 seat auditorium in downtown Managua at Liberty Baptist Church. They had 1251 the second Sunday of March. God is blessing. God has supplied 2/3 ofthe moneys that we need to raise the church up. This is a mammoth undertaking. I feel that it will take another
$50,000 to be able to finish out the roof and main structure ofthe building so that they can get on in even if they sit on pieces ofwood. As my prayer partners, some of you might be able to help in this need. I am trusting God to raise up the $50,000 over the next few months.
A number of weeks ago, someone broke into the house that I was staying in there in Nicaragua and stole everything that l had. They took $3400.00, my cameras, cell phone, laptop computer and passport. Miraculously, I was able to get a passport and get back to the states for a period of time. None of the things have been returned since they have been stolen. God is good and He will take care of every need.
