Andrew and Ramona Wilson: February and March 2007
Dear Praying Friends,
We rejoice to be back home here in Germany. After almost a year in the States reporting to our supporting Churches as well as visiting new, ones we were ready to be back on the field. During our furlough were encouraged and challenged as we shared our burden for the people of Germany. Our field is not a new one as far as mission fields go, but the needs are great.
It was evident that our folks were excited to have us back. When we entered our house we were welcomed back with a large banner hanging from a door. Our table was full of food along with flowers and wonderful cards and notes. I called everyone in the church to let them know we made it in safely and to thank them for all they had done for us.
We have hit the ground running since our return. In March we will have a visiting preacher with us, Dr. David Earnhart. The end of March, Kai and his wife Claudia will be having their Church wedding. They were married at the court house, as all Germans are, and now they want to stand before the Lord to exchange their vows. We have been very busy with all the preparations, as they have ask Ramona to be the wedding coordinator. This will be a great outreach to both sides of their families as most of them are not saved.
The attendance in our Sunday services have been good. Recently we had two ladies visit, they were both saved but were looking for a church to join. We have been so encouraged by the growth of the people over the last year. Kai fauss, who was over seeing the work has grown in his faith and has a greater burden for the lost. During a recent midweek Bible study we all prayed for lost friends and family members.
In April, we will have Pastor Jim Rushing and his family with us for several days. Pastor Rushing will be doing a marriage seminar and the whole family will be singing. We are working at having this open for the whole community to attend. We are currently looking for a suitable place to have the seminar at to accommodate a large number of people. Please pray with us concerning this seminar as many who will be in attendance will not be saved. We are praying for souls to be saved and marriages to be strengthened according to God's plan.
Our hearts desire is to see people saved, baptized and living for the Lord. A part of your this plan to reach people includes renovating our meeting place with new paint and a new floor. The folk are excited about this project and are also looking forward to acquiring a larger building to meet in.
