Praise the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!

Empty Nest Feelings Leaves Room for God
A Christian translator who we work with at times was trying to get her mother interested in church. The churches she had been going to did not seem interested in her mother and she was very discouraged. We invited her and her mother over for dinner where I was able to witness to her extensively. Yelena had two children which were grown now, and recently had a grandchild (from her son). She said her whole life had revolved around her kids and now she had no purpose. I told her that everyone was created by God to have one main purpose of living for Him. She felt unsatisfied because she had been living for herself and her kids, when God had something much more meaningful for her to do. She has not been saved yet but has agreed to study the Bible with us. Pray for her salvation.

We asked you to pray that Inna's husband would come to our house so that we could witness to him and befriend him. God has answered our prayers and then some. Alexsei not only came to our home and had a great time, but invited us to come to his home as well. I witnessed to him, and he was not ready to except that he had done anything really bad. Please pray that he will be saved. Also Inna's mother has started to attend our Bible study although she is still very enamored with her charismatic church. She willingly admits however, that although they pray for people all the time to be miraculously healed, no one ever is. Please pray that she will be faithful to our study and open to the Bible.

Alexander is doing well and showing some early spiritual maturity in his concern for others to be saved. We had him over this month to our house and he invited his girlfriend because he wanted her to hear the Gospel. He was not able to get a hold of me though early enough to warn me she was coming so he do not end up bringing her. When I found out about this, I told him he never has to check with me, he can bring anybody he wants. Alexander is going to work at a camp for college credit and will be gone for a month. Pray that he will be faithful to Bible study when he gets back. Thank you to those who prayed for our land problems, praise the Lord everything has been worked out.
